WHY POLYPADS® PET BEDS STAND OUT

The PolyPads® brand name is big in the equestrian world for excellent quality thick quilted saddle pads, which are fully machine washable & quick to dry, tough and durable and designed for the work that they do.

PI Associates/PolyPads® decided to manufacture pet beds when so many of their equestrian buyers were saying that their dog or cat would 'take over' the PolyPad® in the yard or tack room, making it their own special pet bed!

The PolyPads® pet beds are made out of the same materials, which include:

tough workwear polycotton

quilted to a 305gsm high density polyester fibre

bound with binding of acrylic & polyester (for softness & strength)

This means that the outer will withstand scratching and clawing, not only because it is a tough material, but also because it is quilted to a substantial fibre, and cannot be pulled up easily by claws.

It also means that the Plus One© thickness has 915gsm of fibre inside (equivalent to around 13.5 tog rating), and that the Doubler© thickness has 1220gsm of fibre inside (equivalent to around 18 tog rating).

The binding is not proof against chewing, but is tough in all other respects and comes in attractive colours to make your pet bed that bit different. If you really want to customise your pad, then do your embroidery in the same colour as the binding, which looks super!

When PolyPads® pet beds are washed, you wash all of it - including the filling. There is no loss of shape or comfort, but it does mean that any parasites that are living in the filling are destroyed, ensuring a clean and hygienic bed.

Finally, the fibre filling builds up a residual heat when your pet lays on it, helping to alleviate any stiffness or arthritis, as well as drying their coat. This makes the PolyPads® pet bed even more comfortable, especially for older pets.
